Mystery Rural Shed

Sometimes an abandoned site is a mystery. This blog features a shed found in the middle of nowhere. There was a stone foundation about 100 yards away from the partially stripped wooden structure. Why was the shed built? Why are boards missing from four walls? I don't know the answer to the purpose, but I suspect some lumber thieves took the missing siding. Perhaps you have an answer to either question...

Another county road house and foundation was found on the same day as the shed. All 41 pictures of the explorations are in this flickr set.
