I've learned that I don't have the stomach to be a political warrior. It could be that I don't understand the power plays of politics. It could be that I don't understand warfare as a whole, but I don't think this is the case. The "difference" may be that those who engage in political warfare are supposed to be on the same side, namely the country as a whole. This does not seem to be the case. Their loyalties are instead to relatively small set of people (compared to the nation as a whole). I can't stomach this mindset. We all exist in our own realities, and I can't related to the world of the political warrior.
