A Dream and a Song

This morning I had a very strange dream. Dovetailing from a bigger dream, I was in a school bus with my supervisor and a buncha kids. We were driving down a hill to a factory that I had previously taken pictures at. Somehow the road stopped and the bus largely vanished. We were in a dangerous place. The tableaus were dark. Seemingly eclectic rooms held horrible evils. Escape was the only option. We tore at the wall that blocked the 'road'. It was removed, opening up into the front of flashy budget hotel. We discussed what to do next. Staying at the motel seemed a wrong thing to do as it was to close to "the place".

Nothing really bad happened, but I found the dream to be disturbing. So, I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show this morning to shake the mood. Oh... does this not make sense? Maybe not. The closing song, "Super Heroes", seemed to most speak to the thing I was looking for.
Super Heroes
I've done a lot, God knows I've tried
To find the truth, I've even lied
But all I know is down inside I'm bleeding.

And Super Heroes come to feast
To taste the flesh not yet deceased
And all I know is still the beast is feeding.

And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time, lost in space
And meaning.
