Something to Live For

I think an important part of surviving depression is having something to live for.   The inside of a depressed person dies, and all they can do is look outward.  Sadly the things to live for can become an external thing and external things change.  This can lead to the removal of the reason to live.  This is contrary to healthy living, in which a person lives for themselves, but depression is twisted like that.
