The Wolf at the Door
The wolf is at the door.
Yesterday he was my companion.
Tomorrow he is my savior.
The thief pockets my money.
I wonder how it will be
when he pays me my wages tomorrow.
Poison in the air.
Death in the water.
Here I lay in the luxury of home.
You oppress me.
You hate me.
Will you be my friend?
Life confuses me.
Two faces of the same.
Because the wolf is at the door.
