Step Step Rock Step
Poem for Day 356 – 20151223
It's that time of the week
here not often enough.
Yet I rejoice the same
because I can dance again.
I ache from the pain of age,
to dance is sometimes difficult.
This does keep my home,
I only have to pace myself.
The adrenaline pushes me along,
the endorphins ease the aches,
the tunes are therapeutic
to the one that loves to dance.
This is a weekly joy
among my other family.
To swing to the step step rock step
is where I want long to be.
