contemplativeDream Within a Dream
We had adventures that long day
enjoying company of those near at hand
at the unstated amusement park
in the heart of fair LA
My most close companion had purple hair
wore the outfits aligned with feminine
was quite pretty to my eye
through the telly I knew of more
full disclosure came at last
they wanted me to know the drill
the stuff down low was revealed
no big surprise, disclosed at last
next the pronouns were covered
they said I could call them bitch
(she conferred with slap of sass)
Yolondra by name, Mary for plain
the adventures carried on
with fair Mary by my side
napping life with love’s relish
she was the dream within a dream.
